FAQs ABOUT WOOD MATS:

What is a wood mat?

A wood mat is an interlocking system of logs or timbers that can be used as a temporary surface for construction operations, such as roadbuilding, drilling, and other activities that require access over weak soil conditions or terrain. Wood mats are designed for long-term use and provide multiple benefits including increased safety, improved speed of operation, and protection of underlying soils from equipment compaction and wear.

How strong are wood mats?

Wood mats are incredibly strong and durable. The interlocking design of the logs or timbers makes them resistant to shifting, heaving, and other forms of movement caused by heavy equipment loads. They can also withstand extreme temperature changes without warping or cracking.

What materials are used in Mavrik Solutions' wood mats?

Mavrik Solutions uses only the highest quality hardwood species in their wood mats, such as oak, ash, and maple. Each piece is cut to precise measurements for strength and durability, ensuring that their customers get a product that will last for years to come.

How do I install Mavrik Solutions' wood mats?

Installing Mavrik Solutions’ wood mats is easy and straightforward. First, the area needs to be leveled and cleared of any debris or obstructions that could interfere with the installation process. Then, each mat should be placed in place and secured with lag bolts.

Are wood mats environmentally friendly?

Yes! Wood mats are an eco-friendly alternative to other temporary surfacing options as they can help reduce soil compaction and erosion. Additionally, because Mavrik Solutions uses only sustainably sourced hardwood species for their wood mats, you can be sure that your purchase won’t have a negative impact on our environment.

How long do wood mats last?

Mavrik Solutions' wood mats are designed for long-term use, and can last many years if properly maintained. Regular inspections and cleaning should be done to ensure that the mats are in good condition, and any necessary repairs or replacements should be performed promptly.

I formed PSI to provide a better, more polished product for our customers in the power and petrochemical industries. To provide “old school” service that was based upon a handshake, and where a service company does just that, provide service. Not only provide service, but provide only the best service, with spot-on pricing, punctuality, professionalism and utilizes a “service with a smile” approach. The company, much like myself has modest roots, remains humble in its demeanor and yet is very driven to succeed and be the very best at what we do.
