Hot Tap Process

As part of Plant Services, Inc (PSI), I’ve seen firsthand the complexities and challenges of maintaining oil and gas pipelines. One technique stands out for its efficiency and safety: hot tapping. This process allows us to connect new pipelines or make necessary repairs to existing pipelines without shutting down the system or interrupting the flow of oil and gas. It’s a critical service for ensuring continuous operation and minimizing downtime in the demanding energy sector.

Wyoming Oil and Gas Industry

In Wyoming, where the oil and gas industry forms the backbone of the local economy, maintaining pipeline integrity is paramount. The state’s vast network of pipelines crosses some of the most challenging terrains and operates under harsh weather conditions. Hot tapping, therefore, becomes not just a service but a necessity for ensuring the uninterrupted flow of these vital resources.

Oil and Gas Pipeline Maintenance

Maintenance of these pipelines is a complex task, requiring specialized skills, knowledge, and equipment. At PSI, we’ve tailored our services to meet these challenges head-on, with hot tapping being a prime example of our adaptability and commitment to excellence in the oil and gas industry.

Thank you for coming to our website. It is my hope that when you put your mouse down and decide to take action for your facility needs, that we’ve given you enough information for you to make PSI your first call for your specialty contracting needs.

I formed PSI to provide a better, more polished product for our customers in the power and petrochemical industries. To provide “old school” service that was based upon a handshake, and where a service company does just that, provide service. Not only provide service, but provide only the best service, with spot-on pricing, punctuality, professionalism and utilizes a “service with a smile” approach. The company, much like myself has modest roots, remains humble in its demeanor and yet is very driven to succeed and be the very best at what we do.
