Community Involvement

Here at PSI, we like to be as involved in our local community as possible. A strong community, is a great community.

P66 Bartlesville Golf Tournament

It was our distinct pleasure to be a part of the P66 United Way Bartlesville Golf tournament! we had 4 days of tournament play with all proceeds going to the United Way. Weather held out and provided us with perfect golfing conditions, so we took advantage of it!

Thanks to P66, United Way and Mr Matt Mitchell for letting us participate! Another great event supporting a wonderful cause!

Proud of all our folks manning the tent with us, especially to our hostesses with the moistest Mona and Carry! And, a huge thank you Carry Ray and Nathan Lewis for volunteering!  You two were troopers and we sure appreciate it!

You can see everyone had a great time helping P66 and United Way raise money for a fantastic cause!

2021 Customer Appreciation/Open House and InsideVoice Fundraiser

Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, we had to skip our 2020 Customer Appreciation day. With the extra “down time” we were, however, able to plan a fantastic 2021 event.

We rolled out our brand new BBQ trailer and put it through it’s paces to feed quite a number of people. Additionally, we were excited to get back to “throwing bags” as our annual Cornhole tourney coincided with this event.

It was also our pleasure to participate in a fundraising event for InsideVoice through donations and a Silent Auction. InsideVoice helps provide financial aid for the benefit of dogs and cats in need of medical care, senior pets needing end of life care, and pets in need of rescue and re-homing. We raised over $4,000 for this wonderful organization. You can still help with support, or if you are in need of assistance of this kind by going to www.insidevoicewyo.org.

wagon wheel ranch shootout

PSI had the pleasure of sponsoring another fund raiser for our friends at INSIDE VOICE. This one was particularly fun because we got to donate time & money to help save animals, and there was shooting! Thank you Tammi Littrell for having us again this year! We can’t wait to see what you have planned for next year!

“Our fundraiser was a big success because of the great people who generously donated time, money, food/beverages and auction items!

If you or someone you know has a pet who needs our help, we are here for you!”

Numana Volunteer Day

The PSI fellas in El Dorado had the pleasure of helping our friends at Numana boxing, palletizing and sending out food packages to Haiti.  Each box contained food consisting of rice, beans, soy and oats.  Chad Carter, Beau Parker and Matt Morris jumped at the chance to help when Ashley Burns put out the call for help.

The boys put their thinking cap on and figured out the best stacking process to most effectively get these food boxes to where they were needed and came up with a great method.  They figured out the best way was to stack it as 9 boxes per row, 6 rows high, 36 bags per box.  Each bag is the equivalent of 6 meals.  In total, our boys loaded up 20 pallets to ship off to needy families.  The total order weighed around 45,000lbs!  The Numana folks told our boys that they were so efficient, that they basically did 8 hours’ worth of work in a little over 2 hours.  They were extremely impressed.  Nice job fellers!

Our boys left tired and a little sweaty, but definitely told Ashley to call anytime they need help with a load and PSI would be there again, ready to shine!  Thank you, El Dorado Employees, for helping out so willingly!  You did us proud today and made the world just a little bit better place to live in!

Help For Homeless Pets – Cleanup

When the folks at HHP reached out to Mona to see if we could help them with a problem, we jumped into action.  The holding area for animals in the back didn’t have a finished wall and in the winter, the tarps and wraps they’d put up to hold in heat just weren’t cutting the mustard.  Our group, with the help of a few of our contractor buddies, took this as a call to arms.

We cleaned up the back area, installed new metal, fixed the broken pens and installed new gates.  With a phone call or two, we soon had our buddy Nate Vanersloot over and he hooked up a brand new heater we bought for the building.  We threw in a few new blankets and dog beds and voila’, new living quarters for our fuzzy 4-legged friends!

It was our pleasure to help out this great cause!  HHP is doing wonderful work with few resources, so bless them for working so hard to help our friends find homes!

We want to give a BIG Thank You to the folks from Plant Services Inc, Thomas Thayer, Mona Thayer, Joe Best, Twila Carey, Sean Carney, Chaz Cormier, Jeff Schelle, Kyle Solheim…. not pictured: Jamie Pasley, Morgan Thayer, & Jordan Ewen for your work at the shelter! These guys are AWESOME! They Volunteered their time and materials to enclose our outside dog area so that we are now able to house up to 8 more dogs at the shelter during the winter months! This is HUGE! Usually during winter months we are limited to only the 8 spaces inside. So, because of these kind and caring folks, we can now double that number year round! On top of that, they helped us clear out and haul away unused items, repaired kennels, and deep clean and organize our inside dog area! so, THANK YOU from all of us at Help for Homeless Pets and from all the grateful dogs that will be warm and comfortable this winter while awaiting adoption!

Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter

This year, YVAS not only met but exceeded its fundraising goal of $5,000.00 for scholarships for its Spay & Neuter Clinic held on April 27-28, 2019. YVAS will use the additional proceeds to continue supporting the shelter’s important work, including caring for lost, injured and homeless pets and educating the public about animal welfare.

We just have to give a special shout out to Mona and Tom from Plant Services, Inc.! Not only did they sponsor our event and buy Silent Auction items, but they were also the highest bidders at the Live Auction. We hope you have a great time on your trip to Napa Valley! Thank you for supporting the animals at the shelter.

My Furry Valentine

Fundraising can be a lot of fun! PSI is a regular supporter of our local animal shelters and one of our favorite events is the YVAS My Furry Valentine event they put on each February. A lot of money gets raised and as you can see us, along with our friends who also care deeply for our 4 legged friends came to do nothing less than give it our all to help!

Dodge For a Cause Dodgeball Tournament

Plant Services, Inc had the distinct pleasure of participating in a dodgeball tourney that benefited a local family in dire need.

A local family was recently devastated by the news that the mom, Lucy had cancer.  What follows with all cancers is chemotherapy, drugs and bills, lots and lots of bills.  Well, in stepped Wes Nelson from Pro fab Motorsports and Terrill Bracken from Fusion Fight League to help out.  They arranged the event, called upon a few of their business friends such as PSI and next thing you know, there’s a dodgeball tournament formed. From handmade trophies, to a whole host of teams donating money to play, a lot of money was raised and a whole lot of good fun was had.

We were very honored to participate and support this tournament.  And a huge thanks to our PSI team members who literally went from the couch to 2nd place!  There were a lot of stiff and sore bodies come Monday, but every single person was smiling ear to ear, stating that they wouldn’t trade that day for anything!  To our “Red Rockets” Team; Kyle, Morgan, Sean, Jeff, Chaz and Nate…Thank you again for jumping in and representing PSI this fine day!  You are appreciated more than you know!

Also, a special thanks to Greg Monical and 777 Fitness for hosting the event.  Your generous hospitality helped make this even happen.

It’s events like this that reinforce that community feeling that Billings has and bring a lot of people together with one vision, and that’s to help their fellow neighbor in need.  A very proud day to be a Billings citizen that’s for sure!

1st. Annual Customer Appreciation Day and Cornhole Tournament

1st Annual Customer Appreciation Day. Sharing the day with Customer/Friends and PSI family, enjoying good food, beautiful weather, and a friendly Cornhole tournament to raise money for (Help for Homeless Pets). Everyone had a great time, and the memories will last forever! Thank you to all of you for coming out and sharing the day with us, and for your contributions to support a great organization. And thank you to the entire PSI family for not only all of your hard work and commitment to make this day great, but for making every day great!

2019 Toys for Tots run.

Every year Metal Works and Plant Services, Inc gladly and readily donates to the annual Toys for Tots run in December, but this year we were all feeling particularly feisty and everyone climbed on their bikes, UTV’s, ATV’s and vehicles and drove through the snow and rain to deliver toys to Santa’s Shop at Rimrock Mall.

A truly wonderful experience and we were so glad to be a part of the run! Thanks to all of our caring employees who braved rain and then white-out conditions that day!

CEO

Thank you for coming to our website. It is my hope that when you put your mouse down and decide to take action for your facility needs, that we’ve given you enough information for you to make PSI your first call for your specialty contracting needs.

I formed PSI to provide a better, more polished product for our customers in the power and petrochemical industries. To provide “old school” service that was based upon a handshake, and where a service company does just that, provide service. Not only provide service, but provide only the best service, with spot-on pricing, punctuality, professionalism and utilizes a “service with a smile” approach. The company, much like myself has modest roots, remains humble in its demeanor and yet is very driven to succeed and be the very best at what we do.
