Plant Services, Inc

Composite wrap Products & Services

Plant Services, Inc. was one of the first in our industry to use DiamondWrap®, which uses a high-tech carbon fiber wrap and solid epoxy to form a stronger-than-steel finish. Its unique bidirectional weave ensures strength in both the hoop and axial directions, meaning little or no creep over time and no reduction in strength.

Arrest Corrosion / Erosion, Restore Structural Integrity
and Prevent Leaks

Installed by trained PSI team members, DiamondWrap will save you time, labor and equipment costs, and in most cases no plant downtime is required. That means no evaluation, no pipe welding or cutting, no heavy equipment handling requirements and no volatile compounds. It’s fast curing, able with withstand high temperatures and is resistant to most chemicals.

Extensively tested in the lab and in the field, DiamondWrap is ideal for:

  • DOT Pipeline
  • Chemical Plants
  • Water/Wastewater Faciliites
  • Refineries
  • Nuclear and Power Plants
  • Mining
  • Pulp/Paper Mills
  • Offshore and Marine Terminals

BLACKDIAMOND® Structural Carbon/Epoxy Rehab System

The BlackDiamond™ carbon-fiber wrap system rehabilitates and restores corroded and eroded pipelines and piping systems to their original operating strength. Installed by certified PSI techs, it is engineered to restore pipelines to their maximum allowable operating pressure (MAOP) with no shut down required.

Installed by certified PSI team members, BlackDiamond™ delivers operators with a cost-effective solution and alternative to repair clamps, welded sleeves and pipeline replacement. Unlike fiberglass repair systems, it offers reduced thickness solutions, exhibits minimal creep and no reduction in strength over time. And because it’s low profile, it can be installed in virtually any location, from straight runs of pipe to tees, elbows, confined spaces and irregular surfaces requiring structural reinforcement or leak containment.

  • Minimal excavation and clearance space needed
  • Highly chemical resistant
  • Able to withstand extreme temperatures (-20F to 180F)
  • Compatible with carbon, stainless, alloys, PVC, fiberglass
  • Fast-curing, with no VOCs
The BlackDiamond System is comprised of three components, each thoroughly and independently
tested at both university and national laboratories.

Solid epoxy primer creates a solid bond and load transfer between the repair and the substrate.

Bi-directionally woven, carbon-fiber materials provides reinforcement in both hoop and axial directions and is the strongest, non-metallic repair available on the market.

Polymeric epoxy resin allows for uniform loading throughout the entire wrap.

Thank you for coming to our website. It is my hope that when you put your mouse down and decide to take action for your facility needs, that we’ve given you enough information for you to make PSI your first call for your specialty contracting needs.

I formed PSI to provide a better, more polished product for our customers in the power and petrochemical industries. To provide “old school” service that was based upon a handshake, and where a service company does just that, provide service. Not only provide service, but provide only the best service, with spot-on pricing, punctuality, professionalism and utilizes a “service with a smile” approach. The company, much like myself has modest roots, remains humble in its demeanor and yet is very driven to succeed and be the very best at what we do.
